Great Britain and Ireland aren't known for great food, but they are famous for producing some of the best beers and whisk(e)ys in the world, and for consuming these (and tea) in ridiculously high quantities. While I have no intention (at this moment) of trying to make my own beer or whisk(e)y at home, that won't stop me tasting and writing about them.
